Ze Gao is a multidisciplinary artist and scientist based in Hong Kong. He serves as Chief Scientist at Cyanpuppets (Guangzhou) and holds the position of Research Fellow with the UNESCO Chair in World Traditional Handcrafts: Inheritance and Innovation. Previously, he served as faculty at Hong Kong Polytechnic University and held researcher positions at the Tongji University-MIT City Science Lab, PolyU-NVIDIA Joint Research Centre, and the Extended Reality & Immersive Media Lab of HKUST. Gao holds a degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art and an MFA from the School of Visual Arts New York. His work bridges art and technology, focusing on AI-Generated Content, Human-Computer Interaction, Cultural Heritage, and Mixed Reality. His academic contributions have been published in ACM and IEEE conferences including CHI, SIGGRAPH Asia, Ubicomp, and IEEE VR, etc. His artworks have been showcased globally at tech and art venues such as SIGGRAPH, ISEA, NeurIPS, CVPR, Multimedia, and DIS, and permanent collected at institutions including the Rochester Art Center (USA) and Franco-American Institute (France). His works are recipient of internationally recognized awards including the Ars Electronica Award, Red Dot Design Award, Lumen Prize, NTU Global Digital Art Prize, and OPPO Renovators Award.
He has also served as reviewer, program committee and art jury for leading conferences and journals including ACM CHI, UIST, IEEE VR, ISMAR, PRICAI, ISEA, EVA London, IJHCI, and Lateral.

高澤(Ze Gao) 是旅居香港的藝術家與科學家,現任廣州靑偶科技(Cyanpuppets)首席科學家、聯合國教科文組織世界手工藝傳承與創新教席特聘硏究員,曾任教於香港理工大學幷在同濟大學-麻省理工學院城市科學實驗室、香港理工大學-英偉達聯合硏究中心及香港科技大學擴展現實與沉浸式媒體實驗室擔任硏究員。他擁有馬裏蘭藝術學院和紐約視覺藝術學院的本科及碩士學位。其創作和硏究融合了科技與藝術,聚焦人工智能生成內容(AIGC)、人機交互(HCI)、文化遺産及混合現實(MR)等領域。其學術成果發表在ACM和IEEE的頂級會議上,如CHI、SIGGRAPH Asia、Ubicomp和 IEEE VR 等;藝術作品展出於全球範圍內的畫廊及科技與藝術展覽,例如 SIGGRAPH、Multimedia、ISEA、DIS、NeurIPS、CVPR 等,幷被羅切斯特藝術中心(美國)、佛朗哥-美國硏究所(法國)等機構永久收藏。還獲得包括林茨電子藝術大奬(Ars Electronica Award)、德國紅點設計奬(Red Dot Design Award)、英國流明奬(Lumen Prize)、南洋理工大學全球藝術奬(NTU-GDAP)以及OPPO Renovators奬等全球性大奬。幷多次擔任ISEA、EVA London、IEEE VR、ACM CHI、UIST、ISMAR、PRICAI、IJHCI、Lateral 等重要會議和期刊的審稿人、評審委員會成員和藝術評委。
